The Role

The Sheet Society are looking for energetic Retail Assistant to become a part of our fast-growing brand in a new flagship store.
Help shape the future of this company working directly alongside the founders and be an integral part of the brand’s growth.


About you

A genuine love for helping people and finding solutions. The type to drop everything to give your full attention to the person who walks into the store. You understand the requirements of merchandising a store to look the best it can, and having products sitting in their appropriate bays in line with marketing campaigns.


You strive to smash sales targets, have a love for organising and finding efficiencies. You have a can-do attitude and thrive in a fast-pace environment.


Bonus points for

You have at least 3 years experience in retail. Understand effective merchandising in a store, and how to maintain standards of product presentation and effective use of displaying product for sales.

Bonus for understanding eCommerce platforms, and the link between online and offline experiences.



What you'll be doing

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Attending to customers in store. Offering product and styling advice and supporting them through to purchase.
Processing sales through the POS and Eftpos terminals. Wrapping/packing their order as per our brand standards.
Processing returns and exchanges.
Directing customers to pre-ordering stock that’s not available in the store
Effectively communicating our brand story, values and products for customers.

 

MERCHANDISING

Creatively displaying product in store to showcase features & benefits
Turning over the store to stay in line with the marketing campaigns rolling out, utilising front bays to reflect the product in market
Replenishment of stock from the storeroom, to fill up all VM displays in the store and make sure all SKUs are visible on the store floor.
Responsible for all minimum stock on hand

 

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Fulfilment of online orders from the Abbotsford store (if order can’t be fulfilled from Brunswick due to the stock being held at the store)
Booking Australia post vans on ad-hoc basis
Fulfilment of click and collect Abbotsford orders
Receipting and putting away stock either on the shop floor, or in the rear storeroom.
Running replenishment reports and monitoring minimum stock on hand.

 

ADDITIONAL TASKS

Smashing daily store targets
Maintain a completely clean store for customers
Responding to Facebook, Instagram and direct emails via Gorgias.
Assisting in marketing activity around promoting the store.

3 days per week: Thurs, Fri & Saturday
Work from Head Office at our flagship store
