Originated from its ancient Asian heritage, tie dye is one of the oldest textile dyeing processes in the book. Reborn in the 21st century, it celebrates a past-time handcraft and delicate art form.

Two key techniques allow us to create these one of a kind designs: binding and dip-dying. Binding refers to the process of tying off sections of the fabric to form a unique flower-like design and prevents the base fabric from absorbing the coloured dye. The dip-dying process then involves carefully dipping the tied fabric into dye baths in batches, from one end of our fabric roll to the other. Once the ties are removed and the fabric is complete, the colour halo and final tie dye effect is perfectly uneven in depth, and rich layers of the dye effect are formed.

Our tie dye range is OEKO-TEX ® certified and made from 100% long staple cotton in a luxurious 400 thread count sateen weave.
